Prysmian Group erhält ersten Auftrag für 66 kV Windkraftanlagen

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energies, der größte Hersteller von Windkraftanlagen, hat die Prysmian Group mit der Lieferung der Intermediate Cables für das Projekt „East Anglia 1“ beauftragt. Der Auftrag mit einem Wert von rund 3,5 MEUR beinhaltet die Lieferung von knapp 200 Kabelsätzen, die konfektioniert geliefert werden. Basis für diesen Auftrag ist die in Wuppertal entwickelte Feltoflex RC in 66 kV. Die Konfiguration des Zubehörs wurde in enger Abstimmung mit dem Kunden erarbeitet. Die Lieferung der Kabelsätze erfolgt schrittweise ab März 2019 und soll im Dezember 2019 abgeschlossen sein.

East Anglia 1 befindet sich seit April 2018 im Bau. Es ist ein Teilbereich von mehreren in Planung befindlichen Offshore-Windparks in der Nordsee des Vereinigten Königreiches. Bis 2020 soll dieser erste Bereich verwirklicht werden und etwa 500.000 Haushalte mit Strom versorgen. Bei dem Projektierer handelt es sich um Scottish Power Renewables, der im Juni 2015 Siemens zum bevorzugten Lieferanten ernannte. Insgesamt sind 102 Siemens SWT-7.0-154-Turbinen mit jeweils 7 MW geplant, die eine installierte Leistung von 714 MW haben. Die Investitionssumme wird mit 2,5 Mrd. Pfund beziffert.
